What’s Colorado Tech Week?

Colorado is in the midst of a remarkable transformation into an internationally renowned tech hub. What got us here is culture, lifestyle and community you can’t find anywhere else. As our growth accelerates, Colorado Tech Week (July 31 – August 4, 2017) is our chance to celebrate what makes Colorado – mountain towns and Front Range cities – a distinct home for technology innovators and showcases our story to the rest of the state, country and the world.

Colorado Technology Association (CTA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the state’s tech industry. CTA has championed the formation of Colorado Tech Week with the Governor’s Office in order to celebrate all things tech-enabled statewide.

What can I do for Colorado Tech Week?

Create an event that showcases your company or organization, however big or small, during the week of July 31. It could be a happy hour, tour, panel, demo – anything and everything is encouraged. The goal is to build a platform for all of our tech – startup and enterprise alike – to have a week where the word gets out about what’s happening here.

CTA will then promote it and ask all participants to help spread the word about other events going on using #COtechweek and sharing wherever they can. It’s a grassroots approach, and we’re excited to see where it leads.
