WHAT IS COLORADO TECH TOUR?
Simply stated: Putting Colorado’s tech stories on the map.
Colorado’s rugged terrain is perhaps its greatest asset. It’s also a natural wall between our diverse communities. Technology helps connect business and industry more than ever before, but there’s no substitute for face-to-face relationships.
Colorado Tech Tour, organized by Colorado Technology Association (CTA), builds those bridges through dialogue and storytelling. CTA is committed to advocating for and showcasing the amazing work happening in every corner of the state, and the Tour is its vehicle.
Working with Region Hosts, CTA and the defined regions will hold open to the public community events and private tours / events to tell the stories of tech across the state and its impact to the region.
HOW MANY YEARS HAS COLORADO TECH TOUR BEEN GOING ON?
2017 marks the 3rd Colorado annual Tech Tour.
WHAT LOCATIONS / REGIONS WILL BE VISITED DURING TECH TOUR?
Colorado Tech Tour 2017 will cover different economic regions throughout the state. To see a full schedule and events, visit: coloradotechtour.org.
Monday, July 31: Colorado Springs & Pueblo
Tuesday, August 1: Durango
Wednesday, August 2: Montrose & Gunnison
Thursday, August 3: Boulder
Friday, August 4: Boulder
HOW DO I ATTEND AN EVENT?
As CTA and the Region Hosts determine the community events, they will be posted on the Colorado Tech Tour website with its associated region page. Online registration will open as each event has been finalized. At least one open to the public community event will be held in each region.
HOW ARE LOCATIONS SELECTED?
CTA has selected five regions based on existing and emerging technology communities. The selected regions and events are designed to be inclusive of their surrounding towns and cities.
WHERE AND HOW ARE TECH STORIES SHARED?
Every day on Colorado Tech Tour, stories from each region and throughout the state will be share on CTA’s digital news called Digital Colorado (digitalcolorado.co). Subscribe to get stories from the tour, as well, daily tech news from CTA outside of the tour.

WHAT IS COLORADO TECH WEEK?
Organized and led by Colorado Technology Association, Governor John Hickenlooper proclaimed the week of July 31 – August 4, as Colorado Tech Week to celebrate the innovative leaders and companies transforming Colorado into an internationally renowned tech hub.
Colorado is in the midst of a remarkable transformation into an internationally renowned tech hub. What got us here is culture, lifestyle and community you can’t find anywhere else. As our growth accelerates, Colorado Tech Week is our chance to celebrate what makes Colorado – from mountain towns to Front Range cities – a distinct home for technology innovators and showcase our story to the rest of the country and the world.
HOW CAN SOMEONE GET INVOLVED IN TECH WEEK?
The entire technology and tech-enabled community — startup and enterprise companies, students and educators of tech, geeks, IT professionals and others — is encouraged to host an event or share their story of how Colorado has helped grow their business.
