EVO3 Helps Career-Switchers Get Into Tech
By Shaun Giudici
Brian Foster of Summit County had never written a single line of code until last year. After participating in EVO3’s inaugural course on HTML & CSS, he soon landed a job with a member company in the shared workspace.
“Brian was really excelling in the course,” said EVO3 founder Aaron Landau. “One day I saw him spending a lot of time with another member here.” With the combination of his newfound skills and the networking potential of the co-working space, Brian was able to land a stable programming job shortly after completing the course.
Collaborative spaces like EVO3 are a melting pot for workers of all industries to learn about how they can transform themselves and their communities through technology. Fortunately, we’re witnessing more and more spaces like EVO3 pop up across the state, allowing talented people like Brian to discover exciting and fresh career opportunities with ease.
