ViaWest Gives Back to the Colorado Community

The tech sector’s involvement in the community has a profound effect, whether it’s ViaWest’s promotion of STEM education and technical careers for girls and women, or donating time and sponsorship to philanthropic organizations like Habitat for Humanity, KidsTek, American Red Cross, Food Bank of the Rockies, I have a Dream, Sungate Kids, The March of Dimes and countless others, tech businesses and professional organizations have been eager to give back to the communities in which they operate. ViaWest further promotes giving back to the community by offering its employees a “Volunteer Day” benefit. Employees can take one paid day per year to volunteer at the charitable organization of their choice. This is just one more way tech businesses really “put their money where their mouth is” and ingrain the spirit of giving into their organization.
